Réal is the principal and co-founder, along with his wife Anne, of NuVest Corporation. Throughout his working life, Réal has been an entrepreneur, building businesses in a range of industries from contracting to management consulting and training. In 1996, Réal and Anne opened NuComm International, a small eight-seat call centre, which they grew to 14 centres and over 3,000 people across North America and the Philippines, before selling to Transcom Worldwide in 2007.

In 2002, Réal was honoured as one of Canada’s “Top 40 Under 40” corporate decision-makers, while NuComm was named as one of Canada’s 50 best-managed companies for five consecutive years under his leadership. Réal quite literally wrote the book on contact centres, authoring two books: Call Centres for Dummies and 23 Steps to an Effective Call Centre. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University, where he obtained an honours business degree in 1986, Réal was recognised as one of the university’s 100 “Alumni of Achievement” in 2011.

A leader in finance, with the qualification of Certified Management Accountant and Chartered Professional Accountant, Irina is the general manager of Nu Vest Management Services, with over 20 years of experience worldwide. Irina has exemplary analytic skills that enhance and facilitate improved business decisions, coupled with the drive to tackle any financial challenge with focus and dedication. Irina is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova with a Bachelor of Accounting and Audit.
